PHOTO #1: The Macomb County Veterans’ Treatment Court has been in operation since last spring, aimed at helping veterans of the armed forces obtain treatment or other services to address underlying problems. A fundraiser was held earlier this fall to benefit the Friends of Macomb County Veterans’ Treatment Court, a non-profit group that provides aid to vets who suffer from issues related to military service. Among those on hand for the “Ride for Those who Served” were (back row, from left) Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Mark Switalski; George de la Nuez, general manager of Wolverine Harley-Davidson in Clinton Township; retired Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Donald Miller; Frank Blowers, Wolverine Harley-Davidson customer and community manager; and LTC (ret.) John Walus; along with (front row, from left) Lisa Ellis, Lori Smith, former Macomb County Bar Association President Gail Pamukov-Miller, Britni de la Nuez, Kara Jacquemain and Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Tracey Yokich.

PHOTO #2: The “Ride for Those Who Served” featured a 60-mile trek through northern Macomb County that ended at Wolverine Harley-Davidson. Among those leading the group of cyclists was retired Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Donald Miller.
