PHOTO #1: Rick DesLauriers (pictured), the former special agent in charge of the FBI office in Boston, recently spoke at Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus. The now retired agent made national headlines in 2013 as the lead investigator in the Boston Marathon bombing case. He also played a significant role in other high-profile investigations during his time with the bureau including the James “Whitey” Bulger case. DesLauriers addressed a National Security Law class on topics relating to the FBI and the Boston Marathon bombing. His lecture was broadcast at the Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Auburn Hills campuses via Cooley’s Distance Education program.
