Open house held

Mantese Honigman recently hosted an open house to welcome former Assistant U.S. Attorney Kenneth Chadwell (center) as a partner with the Troy-based firm. The firm also has offices in New York City and St. Louis, and specializes in complex business cases and real estate matters. On hand to welcome Chadwell were (left to right) Gerard Mantese and Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Jonathan Tukel. Mantese is the founder of the firm and in 2017 was the recipient of the Roberts P. Hudson Award, the highest honor conferred by the State Bar of Michigan. Chadwell was a trial and appellate attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice for the past 29 years, and while working as a federal prosecutor was a recipient of the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service. Tukel, prior to his appointment to the appellate bench in 2017, served as chief of the National Security Unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan.
