Hello, as many of you may be aware, an American Husky was brutally beaten to death with a baseball bat in Battle Creek a few weeks ago.

David Hursley, the person responsible for this horrible act of crueltythis murder, reallyis going before a judge in Battle Creek  on Monday, March 21, at 1:15 p.m. at the Calhoun County District Courthouse, 161 E. Michigan Av, Battle Creek, Courtroom 353.  This will be a preliminary hearing to determine whether to try Hursley for his act of cruelty.  Hursley has been convicted on 8 felony counts and 20 misdemeanors in the past and has served prison time for other offenses.
The prosecutor would very much like a big turnout of animal lovers at the preliminary hearing to help persuade the judge to move to trial.
Please consider attending the hearing!  Strong public support will help put this brutal dog killer behind bars once again.
