At almost twenty years old, The Michigan Irish Music Festival seems not to have to worry about losing the spring in its step nor the gold at the end of its rainbow.

This year’s festival was at times so crowded it was difficult to breathe, although organizers did a good job of ensuring everyone was comfortable.

Irish band after Irish musician kept the crowd clapping and stomping its feet, and there was so much else to do  their heads were almost spinning too.

A few of the local items of interest included (top): Ezekiel Kinney played on a few numbers with the very popular band Scythian. He is the son of Rebecca Kinney and the grandson of Lowell and Roxanne Kinney, both of whom are past Norton Shores City Council members.
