Embrace Books goes national

Readers of Woman’s Day magazine are now aware of what some Muskegonites have known for a while: Embrace Books is an extraordinary volunteer service to the community.

The July/August 2018 issue featured a profile of Embrace Books, which gives away donated books free to all members of the community, as part of its “Inspire: KINDNESS” section.

The all-volunteer group was founded by Taleah Greve, who acknowledges that it is hard to let people know about Embrace, which takes place Saturday at noon twice a month at 1050 W. Southern, inside Front Porch Church.  “It just takes all of us getting the word out,” she says.

Between now and Christmas people can “shop” there on Nov. 10 and 24, Dec. 8 and 22.
