CITY OF ROOSEVELT PARK

The City of Roosevelt Park is seeking a motivated and energetic public works professional for the position of full-time DPW employee. This is a skilled to semi-skilled position. Work is performed under the direction of the Public Works Superintendent and involves operation of equipment as well as the performance of varied manual tasks. The primary areas of responsibility for a Public Works Employee are: street repair and maintenance, snowplowing, water main and sewer main installation repair and maintenance, parks and facilities maintenance, minor equipment repair operation and maintenance. Public Works Employees are required to adequately perform such tasks as are routinely carried out in the daily operations found in these and related work areas.
This position will require ability to respond to emergency calls twenty-four hours a day including nights, weekends, and holidays per the job description. A full job description is available from front desk at City Hall.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Norton Shores City Council on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room, Norton Shores Branch Library, 705 Seminole Road, for the purpose of hearing comments regarding:
      Appeal from Wacker Neuson Productions America LLC
      for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate liabilities
      incurred upon relocation outside the Industrial Development
      District established as 1300 E. Mt. Garfield Road.
The legislative body of each taxing unit which levies ad valorem property taxes in the City of Norton Shores and which would be financially affected by the certificates, as well as the applicant, may appear and be heard at this meeting.
Questions pertaining to the above may be addressed to Mike Huston, Finance Director, Municipal Building, 4814 Henry Street, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – (231) 799-6805.
The City of Norton Shores will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services for this meeting upon one week notice to the City of Norton Shores City Clerk. TDD 7-1-1
