A charmingly low-key presentation by a very gifted couple named Armand and Angelina came to Unity Church in Lakeside on July 5. Though poorly attended, in part because it was booked at the last minute, “The Age of Aquarius” was funny, diverse, and showcased the couple’s gifts, as well as offering an uplifting message.
Angelina’s beautiful voice clearly demonstrated her classical training; she performed for 10 years at Disney’s Epcot Center. Armand interacted charmingly with the small audience and kept everyone laughing with his costume changes and silly lyrics. For example, at one point he said that he had been told he sounded a lot like Neil Diamond (which he did), so he donned a bright blue sequinned jacket and became Neil Zirconium.
