MADLOS (Muskegon Area Dance Lovers) will offer weekly dance events 6:30 to 8 p.m. every Monday through the end of August, at Olthoff Stage, Western Ave. and Third Street in downtown Muskegon, dancing on the sidewalk.
The events include a lesson and open dancing, with swing instructor Chris Sanz from Argentina, and the events are open to the community.
Social distancing will be practiced and masks are encouraged. No experience needed.
When dancers get into paired dancing, dancers will need to provide their own partner or dance alone.
Donations to cover costs are welcome, but are not required.
Feel free to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages; and wear casual attire and comfortable shoes.

Chris Sanz and his partner Florencia Colella grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved into the Muskegon area in 2018, where they met Muskegon native Tom Twining. Together they lead MADLOS. Their goal is to: relax, have fun, meet new people, exercise the body, mind, emotions, and to "express your artistic selves!"
