Spread joy through Christmas-themed postcard drive

Spread joy throughout the holiday season with a Christmas themed postcard drive for our friends at “Sanctuary at McAuley” in Muskegon.

If you’d like to get your family involved in the Christmas Postcard Drive you can do so with three easy steps: 

1. Stop into the Muskegon Museum of Art store, 296 West Webster Avenue  Muskegon, MI 49440, to pick up free blank postcards, or feel free to use your own.

2. Have your family decorate the postcards with festive imagery and messages at home. Suggestions include Christmas trees candles, snowflakes, snowmen, wrapping paper patterns, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, dreidels.
Messages include Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, and Feliz Navidad.

3. Drop your finished postcards off at the MMA store by December 10, and enjoy free admission into the galleries and Festival of Wreaths.

Downtown Wreath Walk

This year, the annual Festival of Trees is a Wreath Walk event people can enjoy from the sidewalk or street through Dec. 6.

Each participating downtown business or organization will host a designer wreath provided by the MMA in a window facing the street or sidewalk.

The MMA will also have a gallery display of decor.

Printed maps will be available at the MMA store and at participating businesses. attractions.

You can also bid on wreaths and decor in the Museum’s online auction.

The museum is open 11 am to 4 pm Tuesdays to Sundays, closed Mondays; with free admission on Thursdays and on second Saturdays of the month. Enhanced cleaning, social distancing throughout the building, smaller capacities in galleries. Wearing masks is required.
