Lively Up Kombucha Tour set for July 15

Hackley Public Library will offer the Lively Up Kombucha Tour on  Thursday, July 14, 6 to 7 p.m, 1945 Stebbins Road.

Join the library for a free tour of the lakeshore’s craft kombucha brewery, Lively Up Kombucha!

Participants will get a tour of the brewing facility, have samples, and ask questions about this wildly popular and healthy beverage.

‘Zines: Telling Your Story’ is set for July 5

The North Muskegon Branch Library will  host  the interesting history of zines, how to make them, and what you can do with them once you have created one. Registration required.

WMS to host Fantastic Finale Tonight and Virtually July 1

The West Michigan Symphony will host conductor Scott Speck and principal violist Arturo Ziraldo in a season finale.

The concert will include the Dukas from Fantasia, and the Berlioz as heard in The Shining and The Exorcist; and Dukas: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice; Bax: Phantasy for Viola and Orchestra, GP 235; and Berlioz: Symphonie fantastique.

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m., at the Frauenthal Theater. Tickets start at $19; students: $10. The virtual event will take place at 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 1, in the WMS?Virtual Concert Hall. Tickets are $25.
