Annual MMLA Lending Conference scheduled for Aug. in Traverse City

The 2011 Annual Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA) Lending Conference is planned for Sunday to Tuesday, Aug. 7-9, in Traverse City. Historic Park Place Hotel, located right in the heart of downtown Traverse City, will be the home base for this event providing attendees the opportunity to hit the streets and take in all highlights of the city.

MMLA has prepared a line-up of speakers that will educate, motivate and invigorate attendees. Speakers include: Lloyd Carr; Steve Richman, Genworth Financial; Brian Chappelle, Potomac Partners; David Stevens, Mortgage Bankers Association; George Zimmermann, Michigan Economic Development Corporation; Richard Ott, FHA/HUD; Dr. Mark Palim, Fannie Mae; Jaqueline Cosgrove and Pam Summers, Freddie Mac; as well as others.

MMLA will have some fun events planned too, including the 2nd Annual "Up North" Golf Classic, a wine tour on the Old Mission Peninsula and a dinner at the historic City Opera House.
