To conclude its 2010 Alumni Reunion Weekend, the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law hosted a strolling dinner and afterglow party Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit.
During the dinner the UDM Law Alumni Association honored Joseph V. Walker (above, center) as the 2010 Alumnus of the Year. Walker (‘72) was an attorney at Plunkett Cooney PC for more than twenty years and was executive VP and COO (1987-1992), and president and CEO (1992-1997) of the firm. In 1998, he joined R.L. Polk & Co. He is currently president of Maple Bay Consulting LLC.
