The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law hosted its 10th Annual Voice for Justice Auction on Saturday, April 14, at the Detroit Golf Club.

The theme for this year’s auction was “Celebrating a Decade of Service to the Community” complete with live and silent auctions, cocktails, a strolling supper, desserts, and live entertainment.

The auction included more than 200 items including gift certificates, gift baskets, sports memorabilia, electronics, event tickets, and events hosted by the faculty.

Proceeds from the Voice for Justice Auction go to fund the UDM Law Public Interest Fellowship Program which provides summer fellowship opportunities in the public interest sector enabling students to fulfill their call to serve and work toward the public good of the community.

Students selected to receive the fellowships will spend approximately eight weeks as summer interns for non-profit organizations, serving or advocating for the poor, disadvantaged, marginalized or under-represented of society.
