Federal Bar addresses students

As part of Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s College Pre-law Summer Institute, the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan, hosted a luncheon and presentation on Friday, June 22, at Cooley’s Auburn Hills campus.

Among those happy to address the program’s students were (left to right) Elisa Angeli-Palizzi of Miller, Canfield, Paddock, & Stone PLC; Leroy Soles of the Federal Defender Office; Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephanie Dawkins Davis; Brad Darling, law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Mark A. Randon; and Marcy Rosen of Miller Canfield.

The institute offers students of color, low income students, and otherwise disadvantaged students an opportunity to study the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and in law school.
