OCBABC's concludes with look at solo practices

The Oakland County Bar Association sponsored a seminar titled “Hanging Out Your Own Shingle” as the conclusion to its OCBABC’s of Practice seminar series on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills.

Among the speakers were (left to right) Kirsten Gramzow of Starr, Butler, Alexopoulos, & Stoner PLLC; Julie I. Fershtman of Foster, Swift, Collins, & Smith PC; Richard Bruder of Enterprise Law Partners PC; and Lisa Hamameh of Adkison Need & Allen PLLC.

“We’re here to help attorneys going solo – hanging out their own shingle – with advice on how to form their entity and how to market themselves,” Bruder said of the event.

Fershtman spoke on “marketing for lawyers and strategies and ideas for marketing through the Internet and traditional sources,” she said.
