Attorneys to discuss non-traditional law careers at lecture, April 3

 Three Wayne State University Law School alumni will share their experiences founding Detroit-based nonprofits and discuss the role of their law backgrounds in their current work during a special panel presentation on Wednesday, April 3, at Wayne Law. The lecture begins at 12:15 p.m. in room 2242 of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, and is free and open to the public.

 
The speakers include:
 
—Aisa Villarosa-Berg, founder, 313 Project which began in 2009 as a student coalition at Wayne Law and connects the legal community to Detroit’s underserved population through pro bono, educational and charitable efforts.
 
—Jeff Aronoff, executive director, D:hive which connects the community with the tools and resources needed to live, work or engage in Detroit.
 
—Matt Clayson, director, Detroit Creative Corridor Center which partners with Tech Town to provide business acceleration services to Detroit’s creative community.
