New mediators graduate

The Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) hosted a graduation for its ninth class of civil mediators from Thomas M. Cooley Law School (Cooley), Auburn Hills Campus, on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at OMC’s office in Bloomfield Hills.

Taking part in the graduation were (seated, left to right) Christine Constantino, Christine Frusciano, Anthony Hines, Karen Babel, and OMC Education Manager Kenzi Bisbing; along with (standing, left to right) Tina Saxon, OMC Executive Director Bonnie Hanes, Karen Peper, Katherine Kerrick, Christopher Schmidt, Chloe Hickson, William Montier, Erin Flynn, and Amanda White.

The class participated in this program as a result of a partnership between OMC and Cooley.

The program was developed to increase the number of mediators available to resolve conflicts in Oakland County and beyond.

Students were given the opportunity to learn and to practice mediation skills.
