Software design business to expand HQ in Michigan

ROYAL OAK (AP) -- A software design business plans to expand its suburban Detroit headquarters. The Michigan Economic Development Corp. on Monday announced Michigan Strategic Fund approval of a $375,000 Michigan Business Development Program incentive for Royal Oak-based Vectorform LLC. The company plans to expand in a downtown building. The MEDC says the project is expected to generate about $2.2 million in new private investment and add up to 75 new jobs. The city of Royal Oak is expected to help support the project with public parking permits issued to the company's employees. The Michigan Business Development Program provides grants, loans and other economic assistance to qualified businesses. ---------------- Online: http://www.michiganbusiness.org; http://www.vectorform.com.
