Attorneys Title Agency hosts gift basket auction to benefit four charities

Farmington Hills-based Attorneys Title Agency (ATA), a full-service title insurance agency providing comprehensive services to companies and individuals involved in real estate transactions, internally auctioned off gift baskets. Proceeds from the charity event will be evenly distributed to Macomb-based Hope Center, Oakland County-based Haven of Oakland, Detroit’s Universal Empowerment Center, and My Sister’s House in Traverse City. ATA President Bill Robinson made the announcement.

ATA employees from all 30 of its branches volunteered their time and worked in teams to create and build 43 gift baskets filled with items, including an assortment of gift cards, movies, holiday decorations and a variety of edible treats. In a private online auction among the locations, each gift basket was sold to raise money for the four charities ATA employees selected prior to the event.

Through the auction, ATA and its employees raised an all-time high of $3,700 for the local charities, while the company contributed an additional $4,300 gift. In total, the event raised $8,000, exceeding ATA’s goal for a second consecutive year, and will allow each charity to receive $2,000.

“Our annual gift basket initiative continues to grow each year due to the generosity and willingness of our team to give back to the local organizations that are making a positive impact in the communities we serve,” Robinson said. “Our entire ATA family is honored to have worked with these deserving organizations to help spread the holiday cheer to those in need.”

ATA is committed to giving back to the community by partnering with various local nonprofit organizations that work to provide homes and shelter to those in need. The gift basket auction is part of an ongoing corporate giving program carried out by the company.
