Thomas M. Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus hosted the 2014 Mentor Jet program on Wednesday, June 18.

Mentor Jet is a speed networking program sponsored by the National Association of Women Judges.  Wayne County 36th District Court Judge Katherine Hansen acted as judicial host for Cooley law student participants, including 19 students from the College Pre-Law Summer Institute being held on the Auburn Hills campus.

“I cannot stress enough the importance of our students networking with members of our legal community while still studying,” said Lisa Halushka, acting associate dean and professor at Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus. “This event gives our students the unique experience to develop strong networking skills that will carry them from the classroom to the profession.”

The Jewish Law Students Association, The Chaldean Law Students Association, The Black Law Students Association, The Hispanic and Latino Law Student Association, The Criminal Law Society, The Health Care Law Society, and the Cooley Outlaws co-sponsored the event along with Cooley’s Career and Professional Development Department.
