The Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan (HBAM) hosted its 2nd Annual Law Student Reception on Sunday, September 13, at the Pleasant Ridge Community Center. Happy to welcome the students to the event were HBAM members (seated, left to right) Michelle Gallardo-Clark, HBAM Secretary Abril Valdes, HBAM President-Elect Amber Cervantez, Wayne County 36th District Court Judge Katherine Hansen, Jim Feinberg, HBAM President Mayra Rodriguez, Frank Ortiz, Mary Rubio, HBAM Treasurer Lawrence Garcia, and Herve Narcisse. More than 25 latino/latina law students from University of Michigan Law School, Michigan State University College of Law, University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Wayne State University Law School, and Western Michigan University Cooley Law School attended the reception.
