Oakland Yard Athletics in Waterford was the site of the Oakland County Bar Association’s 11th Annual Challenge between the New Lawyers Committee (NLC) and the OCBA Board on Thursday, April 14. Instead of the usual bowling challenge, the teams squared off in the football bowling pin game known as Fowling, a hybrid game that combines elements of football, bowling, and horseshoes. The NLC team won with a spot-on toss by Tom Biggers. Proceeds from the event benefit Lakeshore Legal Aid’s Counsel and Advocacy Law Line (CALL), the NLC’s chosen charity for 2015-2016.
