DETROIT (AP) - A federal judge will be a grand marshal at Detroit's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Damon Keith, who recently turned 94, is a judge at the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He was promoted 40 years ago after serving as a U.S. District Court judge in Detroit.
Keith says he's "honored and humbled" to lead the famous parade down Woodward Avenue. He attended the parade as a parent and a child.
Parade organizers say a second grand marshal will also be named.
