The 10th Anniversary Bench Bar Culinary Challenge will take place on Wednesday, June 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the home of retired Judge Wendy Baxter.
This annual outdoor event, typically held in a judge’s backyard, features a grilling competition between teams of lawyers and judges and usually raises more than $20,000 for charities.
All proceeds are divided evenly between Alternatives for Girls, Crossroads for Youth, and the Scholarship Fund of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation.
The Bench Bar Culinary Challenge is not affiliated with any specific bar association. Event chairs are Carol Breitmeyer, Laura Eisenberg, and Nancy Glen.
