Genisys Credit Union held a special Jean’s Day to collect donations for Children’s Miracle Network. Staff at the credit union received permission to wear casual work attire for one day as long as they donated a minimum dollar amount. A grand total of $1,000 was collected by staff members organization wide.

“Children’s Miracle Network supports Beaumont Children’s programs in many of our communities.” said Genisys Credit Union President and CEO Jackie Buchanan. “Genisys is proud to help raise funds for such a deserving cause.”  More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care.

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. Funds raised through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in this specific location will support Beaumont Children’s programs in communities like Dearborn, Farmington Hills, Grosse Pointe, Royal Oak, Taylor, Trenton, Troy, and Wayne.
