Humor strikes a chord

A (Habeas) Chorus Line presented its annual public performance on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Berkley High School Auditorium. This year’s show was titled “This Is the Best We Can Do?” and lampooned Washington, Moscow, North Korea, suburban sprawl, aching joints, the Detroit Tigers, and more. Ready to take the stage were (left to right) Michael Leibson, retired assistant U.S. attorney; Justin Klimko of Butzel Long PC; Sara Fischer, a legal assistant at the firm of Goodman Kalahar; James Robb, associate dean and senior counsel of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Lansing; Judy Zorn of The Zorn Law Firm PLC; Joseph LaBella, vice president, director of contracts for Jack Morton Worldwide; Angela Williams, deputy general counsel with the Detroit Housing Commission; and Mark Lezotte of Butzel Long. AHCL was formed in 1992 for what the group thought was a one-time engagement for the local chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Since then they have performed at venues throughout Michigan and around the country.
