Public Service Fair

More than 30 organizations participated in Wayne State University Law School’s Annual Public Service Fair on Thursday, Jan. 25. During the fair, first-year student Joel Hatline (left) talked to Tony Paris (right), Wayne Law class of 2007, of the Sugar Law Center for Economic and Social Justice. The event gave law students the opportunity to meet and network with attorneys representing a vast array of public interest and public sector employers. Wayne Law Career Services hosted the event which showcased nonprofit organizations; federal, state and local government agencies; and Wayne Law clinics. The participating employers specialize in a wide range of practice areas including poverty law, civil rights, criminal law, immigration law, environmental law, and labor and employment law.
