Program looks at 'Winning TBI Cases'

The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) presented “Winning TBI Cases­ for Adjusters and Juries” on Friday, Sept. 6, at the Four Points by Sheraton in Novi. The program was moderated by Steven Gursten (far right) of Michigan Auto Law. Also speaking at the program were (left to right) Stewart Casper of Casper & De Toledo, Wayne Miller of Miller and Tischler, Artemis Malekpour of Malekpour &?Ball, and Tom Crosley of Crosley Law. Topics that were discussed included: Litigating Traumatic Brain Injury Cases: An Overview; The #1 Thing Lawyers Can Do to Win a TBI Case, and The #1 Thing They Can Do to Lose One; The Gap in Time/Delay in Diagnosis Defense is Not Fatal; Crucial Medical Literature; Introduction to Neuropsychology; Objective Diagnostic Testing and Neuroimaging for TBI; Problems Beyond the Obvious TBI – What Else is Likely Going on But May Not be getting Diagnosed; and Five Things Every Lawyer Should Know About Neuropsychological Testing.
