Justices of the Michigan Supreme Court visited Petoskey for the Court Community Connections program on April 25. The seven-member court, missing one member since the retirement of Justice Robert Young, heard oral argument at Petoskey High School, offering students an opportunity to better understand the appellate courts and Michigan’s judicial system. In a photo op, seven judges from Emmet and Charlevoix counties joined their state judicial colleagues. Pictured: (front row, l-r) Justice Joan L. Larsen, Justice David F. Viviano, Justice Brian K.
