Lawyer teams coming together for 'Bowl-A-Thon for Kids' Sake'

Lawyer teams are continuing to form for this year's 'Bowl-A-Thon for Kids' Sake' to be held March 20 and sponsored by Washtenaw County's Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The WCBA's Public Service Committee is actively suggesting that lawyers and law firms form teams for the Bowl-A-Thon.

It takes place on Saturday, March 20, 4 p.m. for WCBA teams, at Colonial Lanes, Ann Arbor.

Join the following teams who have already committed to participate:

WLAM Washtenaw Region Team One: Captain Suzanne Sukkar.

WLAM Washtenaw Region Team Two: Captain Kim Winokur.

Simon and Geherin PLLC: Co-captains Dan Geherin and Carl Macpherson.

22nd Circuit Court: Captain Judge Timothy Connors.

15th District Court: Co-captains Judge Elizabeth Hines and Judge Christopher Easthope.

14B District Court: Co-captains Judge Charles Pope and Judge Kirk Tabbey.

Prosecutor's Office: Captain John Reiser.

Public Defender: Captain Lloyd E. Powell.

Ann Arbor City Attorney: Captain Stephen Postema.

University of Michigan General Counsel's Office: Captain Ed Reynolds.

The bar has reserved the 4 p.m. time slot for WCBA bowlers. At the conclusion of the event, trophies will be awarded to the respective best and worst teams in a variety of categories.
