Three partners elected to Warner Norcross management committee


The 10-person committee, which oversees the firm’s strategic vision and day-to-day operations is chaired by Douglas A. Dozeman.

Brian Lang concentrates his practice on real estate and commercial litigation, working in both Grand Rapids and Muskegon. He formed and chairs the firm’s Real Estate Litigation Practice Group and serves on the Design Committee, which is managing design and other aspects of the firm’s planned new office in downtown Grand Rapids. Lang has traveled throughout the world and lived in Asia, giving him key insight into his international practice, which deals with cross-border policies and issues. He also leads the International Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Mark Wassink’s practice focuses on serving as corporate and finance counsel for private and publicly held companies, including as borrower’s counsel for financing transactions, and representing financial institutions in commercial lending transactions. Based in Grand Rapids, Wassink has filled numerous leadership roles at the firm, including chairing the Professional Staff and Recruiting Committees.

Steve Waterbury practices general business and securities law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience in corporate planning, international business transactions, corporate governance and antitrust counseling, and serves as counsel to a number of publicly traded and multigenerational family businesses. He has served several terms on the Management Committee.

 

Fred Dilley inducted to National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals
 

 Frederick Dilley has been inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, whose members are recognized for skills in conflict resolution and alternative dispute resolution. Only 14 people in the state have been chosen for this honor.

Dilley, a civil litigation attorney in Foster Swift’s Grand Rapids office, focuses his practice on ADR, as well as working on prosecution and defense of a wide variety of complex civil litigation on behalf of individuals, partnerships and other business entities.

Among many other honors, Dilley has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® since 1995 for arbitration and mediation, including as 2015 Grand Rapids Lawyer of the Year in mediation.
