Scores of admirers were on hand September 25 at the federal courthouse in Detroit for a retirement reception in honor of U.S. District Judge Patrick Duggan. In photo #1, Judge Duggan is flanked by his son, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, and U.S. Court of Appeals Judge Damon J. Keith, a longtime friend. In photo #2, Judge Duggan is pictured with his wife Joan (left) and U.S. District Judge Denise Page Hood (right). A member of the federal bench since 1987, Duggan graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law and spent 10 years as a Wayne County Circuit Court judge before his appointment to the U.S. District Court.
