'How to Settle Cases for More Money' focus of MAJ forum, June 3

The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) will host an evening forum for its plaintiff members titled "How to Settle Cases for More Money" on Thursday, June 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hotel Baronette in Novi.

Steven Gursten of Gursten, Koltonow, Gursten, Christensen, & Raitt PC will be the forum's moderator. Speakers and topics will include:

* Gursten - "Five Tips to Maximizing Settlements."

* Sheldon Adelson of The Sam Bernstein Law Firm PLLC - "How to Settle Cases Pre-Suit with Adjustors (when no one else can)."

* Norman Tucker of Sommers Schwartz PC - "Secrets to Settling Tough Cases."

* Dan Romano of Ramano Law PLLC - "Maximizing Value - Settling Cases in Litigation."

* Dan Buba of Doehrman Chamberlain in Indianapolis - "Confessions from a Former Defense Lawyer: Stop Leaving Money on the Table."

* Richard Holmes of Holmes & Wiseley PC - "Take-aways and Tips from the Defense."

The cost for MAJ plaintiff members (with digital materials) is $125 and the cost for MAJ plaintiff members (with hard copy materials) is $150. There will be an additional $20 charge for those registering at the door.
