Hearty Helpings

Students from Wayne State University Law School and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law joined members of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Feb. 18 at the Fort Street Presbyterian Church to help more than 400 people receive a hearty meal and warm clothing. “The DMBA’s annual Fort Street Food Service and Clothing Distribution Program is especially important given the economic situation that our residents are facing,” said Maya Watson, chair of the Fort Street Program. Turning out to lend a hand were (l-r) Amanda Clark, Peter Leto, Kathleen Ogilvy, Watson, Richard Blair, Kendra Reinoehl, Danielle Strace, Ashley Ciaffone, Tracy Peacock, Kathryn Stoehr, and Jason Eggert.
