The Wolverine Bar Association (WBA) hosted its general membership meeting and panel discussion on “Breaking Into the Legal Academy: Tips for Aspiring Law Professors” on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at the offices of Bodman PLC inside Ford Field in Detroit.
“African-Americans tend to be under-represented in the ranks of law school faculty – whether that be adjunct faculty or tenure track or clinical,” Robinson pointed out. “So we wanted to use this meeting as an opportunity to figure out how diverse candidates can make themselves competitive in that field.”
