In addition to being named a Fellow, Hoffman is listed in Best Lawyers in America and has been selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer. He is the recipient of the Ingham County Bar Association’s “Leo Farhat Outstanding Attorney Award” for 2010, recognizing an attorney demonstrating exemplary character, integrity, judgment and legal scholarship while adhering to and advancing the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession. He is a graduate of Michigan State University (B.A.) and the University of Michigan (J.D.).

The Health Care Law Section Council to the State Bar of Michigan established the Fellows Program to recognize former Health Care law Section leaders and active members who have made sustained, outstanding contributions to the Section and to the profession of health care law in Michigan. This is the second class of Fellows, since the program began in 2011. Hoffman joins other Fellows, including: Maria B. Abrahamsen; Gilbert M. Frimet; and, Kathrin E. Kudner.
