The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) hosted its Youth Law Conference on Tuesday, April 15, at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy. Among those taking part in the program were (l-r) Oakland County 50th District Court Judge Cynthia Walker, OCBA President Jim Derian, Kathy Fox of Wayne State University Law School, and Oakland County 44th District Court Judge Derek Meinecke. “This event is designed to educate high school students about the law but also about their rights and responsibilities under the law and to prepare them as they turn 18, graduate, and move on to college or other endeavors,” said Fox who is chair of the OCBA Law Related Education Committee.
