Houston lawyer to receive Pursuit of Justice Award

The American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section will honor Houston lawyer Zoe Brigitta Littlepage with its Pursuit of Justice Award, which recognizes lawyers and judges who have shown outstanding merit and who excel in providing access to justice for all.

Littlepage, a partner in the Houston law firm of Littlepage Booth, will receive the award during the TIPS Welcome Reception at the ABA Midyear Meeting in Houston on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Hilton of the Americas.

"The TIPS Plaintiffs Policy Task Force was very pleased to nominate Zoe Littlepage for the Pursuit of Justice Award," said TIPS Chair, Michael W. Drumke. "Over the course of her career, she has obtained significant monetary awards on behalf of her clients, which is a testament to her skill and hard work as a plaintiff's mass torts lawyer. Her dedication to ensuring justice is perhaps best demonstrated by her tireless efforts on behalf of clients whose lives were significantly affected by defective products. Ms. Littlepage greatly deserves this recognition as a recipient of the Pursuit of Justice Award."

Littlepage has a unique practice focusing on complex and generally lengthy trials in federal and state court, all across the country. She has been active in several mass tort projects, including leading the state court charge in the Rezulin litigation. She was lead counsel in the Hormone Therapy MDL litigation for 12 years and, in that role, was the MDL court's ambassador on behalf of more than 10,000 claimants and tried more than a dozen HRT cases to verdict.

Littlepage's jury verdicts were listed on the Top Ten Verdicts of the Year for 2007, 2009 and 2010. She is one of only six women trial lawyers invited into the Inner Circle of Advocates and has been named one of America's top lawyers by American Trial Lawyers Association, Fortune Magazine and The American Lawyer.

Littlepage received her B.S. from Rice University in 1987 and her law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1990.
