Welcoming McCarthy were Eastpointe attorney William Jurczak (seated, right) and (standing, l-r) Warren attorney Mark Teklinski, Grosse Pointe Park attorney Paul Tylenda, Southgate attorney Doug Hamel, Wayne County 20th District Court Judge Mark Plawecki, Detroit attorney Thaddeus Kedzierski, Angela Marino, and Berkley attorney Michael Dean. McCarthy spoke about his recent experience representing defendants in high profile criminal cases.
