ABA Magna Carta exhibit stops in D.C.

The American Bar Association has joined with the Library of Congress and its Law Library to present a special traveling exhibit commemorating the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta. The American Society of International Law (ASIL), will host the traveling exhibit here in D.C. from March 30 - April 2.

The exhibit will feature images of objects from the Library of Congress collections, an interpretive video and other materials illustrating Magna Carta's influence throughout the centuries and how it came to be recognized as the foundation of modern democracy.

The exhibit will be open to participants in the ASIL 110th Annual Meeting and will be available for viewing from 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30 until 6 p.m. on Friday, April 1 in the Columbia A Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC.
