Dickinson Wright Women’s Network to host annual ‘Sharing Our Success’ event to benefit Humble Design
The Dickinson Wright Women’s Network will host its annual “Sharing Our Success” event from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
The “Sharing Our Success” event will be a Mad Hatter’s tea party featuring hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and networking between Dickinson Wright’s female attorneys and their clients. The Dickinson Wright Women’s Network was formed to support and advance women within the firm and the practice of law. Originally focused on fostering interaction and mentoring among the firm’s female attorneys, the Network has expanded over the years to include the firm’s female clients and women in the communities where the firm’s offices are located – throughout Michigan, and in Phoenix, Columbus, Nashville, Lexington, Las Vegas, Reno, Washington DC, and Toronto.
This year’s charitable organization is Humble Design. Humble Design is a Detroit-based non-profit organization helping families transitioning out of homeless shelters by providing furnishings and design services. They turn empty houses into clean, dignified and welcoming homes. It’s a very simple idea that can change a family’s future.

Registration for MSU College of Law Alumni Golf Outing begins now
Registration is open and sponsorship opportunities are available for this year’s 19th Annual MSU College of Law Alumni Association’s Golf Outing, set for Friday, June 3, 2016 at Forest Akers West in East Lansing.
The Outing raises money that goes directly to fund necessary MSU College of Law Alumni Association Scholarships and other initiatives.
This year’s event is particularly noteworthy as the Alumni Association will be honoring Dean Joan Howarth who will be retiring from the Law College at the end of June. Michigan Supreme Court Justice David J. Viviano will also be attending as this year’s keynote speaker.
