Career Advice

On Feb. 2, WMU-Cooley Law School's Auburn Hills Hand House academic organization hosted Richard Sulaka, general counsel for Detroit Water and Sewage Department, to speak to students about career advice and success. Sulaka is a 2013 WMU-Cooley Law School graduate and was recently honored as one of Crain's Detroit "40 Under 40" professionals. Sulaka discussed how in three years after graduating law school, he achieved his current position as one of the youngest municipal government executives in the country. "If you work hard and prepare, like how you are taught at WMU Cooley Law School, your legal niche and success will find you," said Sulaka. Published: Tue, Feb 14, 2017
