Michigan Defense Trial Counsel is hosting “A Whole New World: Navigating Changes to New Discovery Rules, New No-Fault Amendments and a Few Things in Between” from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday, November 8. The seminar and meeting will be held at the Sheraton Detroit Novi, 21111 Haggerty Rd. in Novi. A continental breakfast and registration will kick off at 7:30 a.m. followed by an 8:30 a.m. welcome from MDTC President Irene Bruce Hathaway of Miller Canfield Paddock & Stone PLC. During the luncheon, the MDTC/MAJ Respected Advocate Awards will be given to recipients. This year’s MAJ recipient is Cynthia Merry, Merry Farnen & Ryan PC, and the MDTC recipient is Daniel Swanson, Sommers Schwartz PC.
The cost to attend is $235 for MDTC members $335 for non-members, and $285 for new members (cost of meeting and a year of membership). See special offers at registration for groups and for lawyers in practice 5 years or less.
