Michigan Supreme Court Justice Megan K. Cavanagh (front row, center) was the featured speaker at the Association of Defense Trial Counsel (ADTC) November membership meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Yard House in Troy. Happy to welcome Cavanagh to the meeting were (front row, l-r) Charles Trickey III, Mandy Talyor, ADTC President Dahlia Dallo, and Andrea Jones; (back) Glen Scheerer, Timothy Brady, Justin Zink, John Harris, ADTC Immediate Past President James Hoehner, and Matthew Brauer. Before joining the Michigan Supreme Court in January of 2019, Cavanagh had more than 15 years of appellate experience and was a shareholder at Garan, Lucow, Miller PC in Detroit. Cavanagh is the Supreme Court liaison to Tribal Courts, Child Welfare Services, the Attorney Grievance Commission, and the Judicial Tenure Commission. She also serves on the Michigan Attorney General’s Elder Abuse Task Force.
