Understanding how stress subconsciously impacts our behavior and ability to effectively meet our personal and professional goals was the topic of a recent online workshop hosted by the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at WMU-Cooley’s Grand Rapids campus. The title of the workshop was “Exploring Your Professional Identity.”
Assistant Dean Victoria Vuletich, who led the workshop, was introduced by BLSA President Michaela Bessant. Vuletich led participants through a process of identifying their professional values, their mindset or worldview, and their personality traits. She demonstrated to participants how the highly personal interplay between values, mindset and personality traits is both the "magic we bring to the world and sometimes the reason we fall short of our professional values.”
