New edition of Kurzban’s Immigration Law Sourcebook released by AILA
The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is proud to release the 17th edition of Kurzban’s Immigration Law Sourcebook. Ira J. Kurzban has been a renowned and highly respected member of the legal community for more than four decades. During his brilliant career as an immigration law specialist, Mr. Kurzban has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court and successfully litigated many significant federal cases concerning the rights of immigrants. He has received numerous prestigious awards and honors for his tireless work, including AILA’s Jack Wasserman Award for excellence in federal litigation, the Edith Lowenstein Memorial Award for excellence in the advancement of immigration law, the University of Miami’s Lawyers of America Award for his work on behalf of human rights, and the Leonard J. Theberge Award for Private International Law from the International Law Section of the American Bar Association in honor of his distinguished contributions to the development of private international law.
Today, Kurzban teaches immigration and nationality law at the University of Miami School of Law. He is a founder of the law firm of Kurzban Kurzban Tetzeli & Pratt, P.A., of Miami. Mr. Kurzban received his J.D. and M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
