On Friday, February 18, 2022, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan held a Passing of the Gavel Ceremony to commemorate the change in chief judge from Chief Judge Denise Page Hood to Chief Judge Sean F. Cox. The ceremony was held in Courtroom 110 of the Theodore Levin United States Courthouse and via Zoom.
