Society of Irish American Lawyers to host annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade Brunch

The Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers (ISIAL) is thrilled to finally be gathering again for its signature St. Patrick’s Day Parade Brunch on Sunday, March 13, from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at Mario’s Restaurant, 4222 Second Avenue in Detroit

Mario’s is set to provide a top-notch brunch menu – complete with drink specials. The event will feature Irish music presented by ISIAL’s very own Cahill & Murphy, as well as snappy commentary from the MCs.

A must-see to this year’s entertainment program will be appearances from the Queen of the Detroit United Irish Societies f/k/a Maid of Erin Court, and the parade Grand Marshal Peggy Gray.

Also expected to attend will be plenty of lawyers, judges, elected leaders, and dignitaries from the Detroit Irish-American community. The event will also feature the annual raffle for the ISIAL scholarship fund.

Tickets must be purchased in advance by Friday, March 11, and are priced at $40 for ISIAL members; $45 for non-members; $15 for children (under 12); $30 for law students. Adult brunches will be $50 at the door without advance reservation. (Reservations are held at the door, no tickets are issued.) To make a reservation, visit the ISIAL website at http://irish-lawyers.org/upcoming-events.

Anyone who would like to march in the parade with ISIAL should contact Judge Michael Gerou at mgerou @comcast.net or via text at 734-658-2003 (no voice mail).

Anyone with additional questions can contact Brunch Chairperson Miles Gerou at 313-454-1124 or by email: miles@lplaws.com.
