Warner Norcross gets multiple honors
The law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP tops the list of mid-sized companies in the Top Work Places survey by The Detroit Free Press. The survey ranked Warner Norcross, with six offices across Michigan, first among mid-size companies in the state. Warner Norcross received high marks for offering alternative work arrangements, job sharing, telecommuting, flexible schedule and a compensation system that promotes teamwork, as well as its strong commitment to philanthropy.
Warner Norcross has also been recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as a Cool Place to Work. Offices in Southeast and West Michigan have been honored repeatedly in the 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For.
In addition, Warner Norcross was named one of Fortune Magazine’s Top Ranked Law Firms, which will be published in the magazine’s issue coming out Dec. 26, as well as being included on CNNMoney.com.
The listing is based on its large percentage of AV® -rated attorneys. Forty-three percent of Warner attorneys have received the AV preeminent rating, which is Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rate.
The peer review rating is given to attorneys based on the individual’s high ethical standards and professional ability. It reflects a firm’s expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence.
And, based on the rankings of Best Lawyers and U.S. News and World Report, Warner Norcross was recognized for excellence in 37 practice areas. Criteria for inclusion included firm practice areas, expertise, responsiveness, integrity, litigation and major legal matters, cost-effectiveness, pro-bono commitment, and diversity.
